Republik Film Production was established in 2006 when the director brothers Arni Thor Jonsson and Lalli Jonsson teamed up with executive producer Saemundur Nordfjord. The new partners were off to a fresh new start after spending a number of years with their incubator Saga Film Productions.

Republik Film Production aims to produce work that are simultaneously creative and efficient. We want to stay fresh as a company, be flexible in our productions and keep on pushing boundaries for creativity.

Republik represents the elite of Icelandic directors, offers full production services for all aspects of filming and our network strecthes far beyond our republik. Our producers are all veterans in production. Our cracking team are specialists in cost effective solutions in all areas of film production.
